Local business leader honored at foundation luncheon.

Congrats to 2016 GEM Leadership honoree Richard Harms of Countryside Flower Shop, Nursery and Garden Center. He was awarded during the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s 3rd annual “Be Brilliant” GEM Leadership Appreciation Luncheon for his longstanding legacy of quietly serving the Crystal Lake community.

“As a lifelong resident of McHenry County, Richard has always been active and involved in the community,” said Michael Splitt, the GEM Luncheon Committee Chair. “Richard embodies the ‘GEM’ theme of being ‘Generous, Enthusiastic and Motivated’ to make a difference.”
