About PADS

PADS, a program of Pioneer Center for Human Services, provides homelessness services to nearly 300 men, women and children each year.

In December, PADS expanded its Day Center and Transportation Services to seven days a week to fill the greater need of services. This operating change for homeless services expands the ability to serve clients further. The program’s Day Center provides shelter with connectivity to case management, warm meals, and access to a small food pantry, showers and laundry facilities. Located in Woodstock, the Day Center at 14411 Kishwaukee Valley Road opens at 7 a.m. daily.

The program’s services include daily transportation to local train stations, stores, libraries and church sites. Recently expanded transportation services on Saturday and Sunday, provides individuals with shelter and safety from inclement weather conditions when traveling to different church sites over the weekend.
