When Illinois was Louisiana: The Forgotten French Face of the Illinois Bicentennial

Charles Balesi, author of “The Time of the French in the Heart of North America, 1673-1818,” now in its 4th edition, will talk about “When Illinois was Louisiana: The Forgotten French Face of the Illinois Bicentennial.”

The event will begin on Sunday, 18 March, at 2 PM and last until 3:30 PM, to allow for answering audience questions and signing books.

The address is 414 W. Judd Street, Woodstock, IL, at the Woodstock Public Library, downstairs in the meeting room.
