Pedal-Paddle-Saddle through the Prairie
Whether by bike, boat, or horse, enjoy fresh air and exercise, make new friends and help supportthe McHenry County Conservation Foundation as you join in the 15th annual Pedal, Paddle or Saddle through the Prairie, Sunday, June 4, from 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Glacial Park, Ringwood, IL.
Pedal – Enjoy either a 12K, 20K or 30K scenic ride through the countryside. Rest stops and refreshments provided along the way. All routes are on crushed limestone bike trails – don’t forget your helmet.
Paddle – Bring your canoe or kayak for a 6-mile paddle down Nippersink Creek and we’ll provide shuttle service and support. A LIMITED number of canoe and kayak rentals are available during early registration for $45 per rental.
Saddle – Bring your own horse and ride out at 10 a.m. for a 5.5 mile trail ride through the beautiful landscape of Glacial Park. Follow signs posted on Keystone Road for horse trailer parking area.
Feeling energetic? Pedal & Paddle for the price of one, just make sure you’re back before lunch is over – you won’t want to miss it! Enjoy delicious homemade mostaccioli, tossed salad, and fresh bread, and Culver’s chocolate or vanilla custard for dessert, plus live entertainment by musical the talents of “Dan & Danielle” on the patio of Lost Valley Visitor Center.

$25 Individual non-members; $15 for MCCF members; $50 Family non-members; $40 for MCCF members; (add $6 per participant if more than four in family)
Registrations accepted AFTER May 19th and the day of the event, but will NOT include a free T-shirt. Event is held, rain or shine!
