Nick’s Raises $35K for Autism
Nick’s Pizza & Pub (856 Pyott Road) raised more than $35,000 for Cary Children’s Center for Autism at this year’s benefit on April 30. The event featured an outdoor tent full of activities. All proceeds during its day of operation were donated to the children’s center, which benefits all of McHenry County. Both locations, including its Elgin restaurant (990 S. Randall Road), helped raise awareness during April, National Autism Awareness Month. “This is just one of many ways we are giving back and one of many ways the team here at Nick’s takes action ‘on purpose,’” owner Nick Sarillo said.
