Brad Ball brings an extensive history in leadership roles at chambers of commerce.

Welcome, Brad Ball, Woodstock Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s New President

After an extensive search that drew applicants from across the country, the Woodstock Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors has hired Brad Ball to fill the President position, last held by Danielle Gulli, to begin March 7, 2022.

Brad Ball has an extensive history in leadership roles at chambers of commerce, having served as the Executive Director of the neighboring Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce and the Associate Director of the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce in Chicago.

Most recently Ball has served as Vice President at Big Buzz Idea Group, an agency that provides association and nonprofit management services. In that role, Ball served his nonprofit clients in a variety of capacities including as Executive Director for the honorary land economics society Lambda Alpha International Ely-Chicago Chapter, project manager for the festivals Ribfest Chicago and Chicago Hot Dog Fest, marketing services manager for National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Illinois, and social media manager for National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Chicago Chapter and Big Buzz Idea Group.

Ball’s volunteer experience includes serving on the board of directors as treasurer to the Association of Consultants to Nonprofits and membership in the Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. He was a member of the Woodstock Morning Rotary Club from 2011 to 2016 where he served multiple roles including Club President in 2015. He also coached one season of Woodstock Little League Fall Ball in 2019.

Ball received a Bachelor of Arts from Western Michigan University in 2004 where he studied public relations, journalism and nonprofit management. He lives in Woodstock, Illinois with his wife, Devin, and their three sons who attend Woodstock District 200 schools.
