Care4 Breast Cancer Events Guide

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Family Health Partnership Clinic proudly presents the 22nd Annual Care4 Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Woodstock North High School. Because of the 5K, the clinic is able to provide breast cancer screenings, early diagnosis, preventative care and breast health education to the uninsured men and women of McHenry County!

There are so many ways to support the cause, starting with the Care4 Cherry Wit Brew Release Party on Thursday, September 29 at Kishwaukee Brewing Co. in Woodstock. Enjoy a taco truck, raffles and $1 of each pint benefits the 5K, and anyone that signs up at the event will receive a pair of pink Snap-on Tools socks!

The drinks keep flowing on Saturday, October 15 during the 2nd Annual Wear Pink Drink Pink Care4 Pub Crawl at participating bars in Downtown Crystal Lake. Make a minimum donation of $25 to receive a commemorative pub crawl T-shirt. Don’t forget to drop into the after party at Crystal Lake Brewing starting at 5 p.m.!

The Care4 Breast Cancer 5K the next morning is not only a day of celebration, inspiration and hope, it makes a huge impact in the McHenry County community.

The day concludes with a festive after party & fundraiser at Holzlager Brewing in Woodstock with food, live music, games and a very special drink: Cotton Candy Seltzer!
