Spending Quality Time with Alpacas

Alpaca season is coming! Magic Meadows Alpacas in Wonder Lake is ramping up for a fun-filled fourth season hosting sessions with their beautiful, award-winning Suri alpacas. “We will be painting, clearing pens and organizing for you to meet and greet our alpacas,” said owner Sally Kazanis.

Whether you want to meditate among these beautiful and gentle animals or set up a photo session with alpaca-loving subjects, Magic Meadows Alpacas taking reservations now for appointments that will begin in May.

Before You Go

Sessions are by reservation only, please no walk-ins. Sessions begin weekends in May, 11 a.m.; 12:30; and 2 p.m.; and generally two sessions per day on weekdays with flexible times. Call 708-309-1316 to schedule. If you are a professional photographer looking to book sessions with clients, please also call 708-309-1316 to coordinate.

Sessions are roughly 45 minutes and include feeding the female alpacas and visiting the male alpacas; knowledgeable staff is available to answer your questions (no question is too silly!).

Please dress appropriately for the pasture, particularly wear sensible shoes. There are no public restrooms on site, plan accordingly. The farm can accommodate groups of up to 16 people per session. Session fee is $10 per person.
