Annual Adopt-a-Grandparent Valentine’s Day Program

Fisher Outreach Group Inc. of Crystal Lake, which has hosted giving programs for more than 20 years, is organizing its annual Adopt-a-Grandparent Valentine’s Day program. The group will deliver small notes, gifts and sweet treats to participating seniors.

They need your help to make this happen! Senior wishlists are available at Amazon, Target or Walmart, although you can purchase these items wherever they’re sold. Items are needed by February 4, 2023 and can be shipped or dropped off at the office located at 8600 US Hwy 14, Suite 106A, Crystal Lake 60012 (office building next to McHenry County College).

Drop off hours are 8 a.m-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday; and 8 a.m.-noon on Fridays.

In addition to new store-bought items, the program is seeking handmade cards made by children that can also be dropped off.

If shipping items, please request a shipping tag be sent so the organization can thank you and let you know your item was received.
