Helping Paws is pleased to announce the 13th Annual Panting for Paws 5K and 1 Mile Family Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, October 5th from 7a.m. until 11a.m. at Lippold Park in Crystal Lake.
This is an extra special year for Helping Paws, as 2019 marks our 50th anniversary as the first no-kill animal shelter in McHenry County. In these past 50 years, Helping Paws has rescued thousands of animals, giving them a second chance at forever by placing them in loving homes. Therefore, our theme for the year is "Celebrating 50 Years of Second Chances," and we hope you will help us launch our events by participating in Panting for Paws!
We are also excited to let everyone know that this years Panting for Paws 5K race will be chip timed! Every runner in this race will receive race bibs individually chipped for their most accurate race times and results! 1 mile race starts at 8:30 and the 5k starts at 9:00.
Packet pickup will be held at The Running Depot, 30 N Williams St, Crystal Lake, IL on October 4th from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM Pricing:

After you finish the race, hangout with us for some great refreshments! Beer will also be available for those over 21 years old. *Special swag will be given out to the first 150 registrations!*
