The Woodstock Public Library presents this free warmup event before the Awakening.  Bring your kids and join the children’s librarian for groundhog stories.

Wakening of the Groundhog
FREE, 6pm, Woodstock Opera House, 121 W. Van Buren
Woodstock Willie will make an appearance in the Opera House and spectators are invited to gather in the auditorium. Following a few surprises, Willie will join his fans who will have an opportunity to pose for pictures with our furry mascot.

How many times have you seen the movie Groundhog Day? Come test your knowledge and your memory against visitors from across the country for prizes and fun. Refreshments available. Join us after the “Welcoming of the Groundhog” at the Stage Left Café to enjoy some hot chocolate and play our Groundhog Day movie trivia game for prizes. Cash bar.

Woodstock Willie Craft Beer Sampling

Join Woodstock Willie in the shadows at this benefit for the Child Advocacy Center of McHenry County. A donation will get you 10 samplings of ShadowView’s own brew along with appetizers and their homemade pizza. Cash bar.
