All-In McHenry County is a collaborative effort between 11 local non-profits to raise awareness of our adapted services during COVID-19, celebrate our continued perseverance, and raise funds to help sustain our services now and for the future. Our efforts center upon a Facebook “telethon”, scheduled for Saturday June 27th, from Noon to 7:00 pm. This event will be filled with entertainment and agency information.
Through the virtual telethon, our collaborative group will promote an “All-Out for All-In” night following the telethon. The goal is to encourage residents to support the Planning Committee’s non-profits as well as local restaurants. Therefore, while raising awareness and funds for the team of partnering agencies during All-In McHenry County, we will highlight participating restaurants, encouraging viewers to go out that evening.
We know that this is a very challenging time for all citizens, worldwide. As a cohesive team, and with a strong collaboration, All-In McHenry County is asking people to search their hearts and support non-profits, now more than ever. Many non-profit agencies are open and providing services during the pandemic. They have been impacted by the financial consequences of the virus, yet they continue to serve. All-In McHenry County asks our friendly neighbors throughout the community to watch our virtual telethon, donate if the means are available, and visit the dining establishments highlighted during the event’s Facebook feed.
Donors are asked to visit our Facebook page to give. All donations will be equally divided among the 11 local non-profits on our Planning Committee. Please give if you can! Thank you to the generous residents of McHenry County. We will get through this together – by temporarily being apart.
