The McHenry American Legion Post 491 is having a fundraising event to raise money for local Veterans. On May 14th at 1 pm, SNL alumnus Joe Piscope is being sworn into the Sons of the American Legion. That will happen at the Band shell in the Woodstock Square. This part of our activities will be free and open to the public.

Later, Joe Piscopo, known also for acting and hosting a radio talk, will be entertaining us at the Woodstock Opera House with shows at 3 pm and 7 pm. He does a great Frank Sinatra set with a 10-piece band. He also will provide us with stories and some comedy.
