As an award-winning glass artist transforming molten liquid into something still and solid, Katherine Gray makes the invisible, visible. Gray opens the 57th season of Woodstock Fine Arts Association’s Creative Living Speaker series via a live online presentation ”After, Words” in which she traces her artistic journey and also relates her adventures as resident evaluator (aka judge) on Blown Away, the competitive reality glassblowing series produced by Netflix.
The program takes place on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. as an online webinar on Zoom. Tickets are $20 each and may be purchased at bit.ly/CreativeLiving2020. Technical information on how to access the program from your computer, smart phone or tablet will be provided with your e-ticket.
“Covid restrictions on occupancy at the Woodstock Opera House make a normal season kickoff impossible so WFAA has reimagined Creative Living,” says the Series’ co-chair and WFAA President Mary Ellen Prindiville. “For the time being, a live online presentation complete with a question-and-answer session afterward is an exciting alternative, one that allows people to participate from anywhere.”
