Brought to you by the Friends of Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Illinois Department of Natural Resources, McHenry County Audubon, and the McHenry County Conservation District. Learn all about birds at this special event.

May 15, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. (Lost Valley Visitor Center, Glacial Park): Activity Stations and Bird Passports are available. Get your passport stamped as you participate in over a dozen games and activities! More stamps = more prizes, including our ever-popular Audubon plush bird that sings its song when squeezed! Door prizes include binoculars, photo prints, and more.

May 16, 8 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (Turner Tract, Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge): A 8 am bird hike led by Lakeland Audubon, a 9:30 am bird hike led by Friends of Hackmatack NWR, and other activities all morning long.

Program content is appropriate for all ages.
This is a free special event and registration is not required. Children ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult family member.
Participants ages 2 and up must wear face covers during the program.
