Earth Day Celebration

Hosted by McHenry County Conservation District and Environmental Defenders of McHenry County

Saturday, April 21 • 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Prairieview Education Center, 2112 Behan Road, Crystal Lake
The event is held both indoors and out and will go on rain or shine!

SCHEDULE:
Musical Guest: JOE REILLY – Two family-friendly and interactive performances!
11:30 am & 2:00 pm
Guided hikes – 12:15 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.
Open Mic – 12:30 p.m. NEW! (environmental themes appreciated)
Food trucks – 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.:
Toasty Cheese, AJz Kettlecorn or bring your own “No waste” picnic lunch.
Ongoing –
Lend a hand with the Stewardship Project and help restore a habitat!
Puppet shows
Environmental Exhibitors

HOUSEHOLD RECYCLING DROP OFF: A variety of items will be accepted for recycling including athletic shoes, batteries, fluorescent tubes and polystyrene foam. Check back prior to the event for a complete list of accepted items and any associated drop-off fees.
