Halloween Costume Gala

Come one, come all to the Dead Man’s Carnival! Raue Center For The Arts invites
patrons to a spooktacular evening filled with live music, scrumptious delights, intoxicating elixirs and sideshow wonders during Raue Center’s Halloween Costume Gala at 6 p.m. on October 27, 2018!

“Raue Center is excited to bring back our Halloween Costume Gala. This party is part spectacle, part dance and a whole lot of Halloween fun! This event is interactive and never boring,” says Raue Center Executive Director, Richard Kuranda. “We are planning some incredibly cool scavenger hunts for both children, and along with costume contests and fire jugglers, we have the coolest group on the planet for Halloween – Dead Man’s Carnival!”

Raue Center’s Halloween Costume Gala will feature sideshow wonders from Milwaukee’s own Dead Man’s Carnival! Professor Pinkerton’s Dead Man’s Carnival is a live music variety show that combines a passion for turn of the century Vaudeville with real deal American roots. This show honors the spirit of the golden age of the circus in way that honors the past with its authenticity and also honors the moment with its sense of urgency.

Collectively, Dead Man’s Carnival will perform aerial, fire, magic, juggling, comedy, sideshow, dance and vaudeville style novelty acts both roaming and on stage. Dead Man’s Carnival is presented in a format that emphasizes crowd interaction, improvisation and inner group collaboration.

Raue Center’s Halloween Costume Gala will also feature frightfully fun activities for the whole family, including games and raffles. Guests of all ages can adventure through the theater, which will feature ghoulishly good decorations by event sponsor Countryside Flower Shop & Nursery, while participating in spooky scavenger hunts!

The spooktacular evening will feature scrumptious food, including local and organic fare that’s sure to satisfy any palate courtesy of 1776 Restaurant. Embracing the farm-to-table philosophy, 1776 will offer a spread that will tempt the senses and have everyone coming back for more!

Local favorite, Georgio’s Chicago Pizzeria & Pub will also provide delicious fare for the evening! Raue Center will be concocting eerie elixirs for the event, including specialty cocktails and kid-friendly drinks!
