Wild Woodstock Walks: The Land Speaks (In Verse), near 700 Ridgeland Ave, Woodstock, IL 6009810 to 11 a.m., a $5 suggested donation. No registration required. Immerse yourself in springtime beauty on a hike at Donato Conservation Area while learning about the poems of Illinois native Carl Sandburg. This is a collaboration with the Atrocious Poets, a Woodstock-based poetry collective, and is part of One City, One Poet, a citywide celebration of National Poetry Month organized by the Atrocious Poets and the Woodstock Public Library.
