Chapel Hill Country Club

Chapel Hill Country Club debuted in 1969 and since then, has been a perennial favorite of both Lake County and McHenry County golfers. The course features one of the area’s most serene settings. Chapel Hill is truly a staple of Northwest Chicagoland golf. Craig Woods Golf Course

Located across Rt. 47 from Crystal Woods, Craig Woods Golf Course was designed to give beginners, juniors, seniors and even seasoned golfers a challenging tract on which to develop and hone their skills. The signature island green of the third hole tests the shot-making ability of golfers with all levels of experience. Those not anxious to test their mettle can opt for the adjacent green which is surrounded by terra firma. However, slicers will still have to take care to avoid an unfortunate splash-down. With its par 3, 4 and 5 holes, numerous water hazards and mature trees, Craig Woods offers an interesting set of obstacles for you to overcome.

Crystal Lake Country Club

Known throughout the region for its unrivaled course conditions, the course is open year round for play (weather permitting) and features 135 acres of tree-lined fairways with bentgrass, and small, undulating bentgrass greens and tees providing a challenge for players of all skill levels. Course rating from the Blue Tees is 73.1 with a slope of 138, and from the Red Tees 72.4 with a slope of 131. The club also offers a practice range and a short game facility. Crystal Woods Golf Club

Crystal Woods Golf Course was originally designed by Bill Langford in the early 1950s. The 9-hole, par 37 course was then known as Bit O’ Heather G.C. until 1967. In 1967, architect Charles Wagstaff blended the old with the new as the redesigned course became a par 72 with 18 holes. Course owners Richard and Mary Ann Craig directed this expansion as Crystal Woods became the first  course of its kind, semi-private/daily fee course in McHenry County. The course opened for play in the summer of 1969.

The Club at Wynstone

Woodstock Country Club
