Raue Center receives contribution from Nicor for arts education outreach program.

Raue Center For The Arts received a generous contribution from Nicor Gas to benefit the theater’s Mission Imagination arts education outreach program. Mission Imagination offers a variety of popular and kid-friendly shows each year and has served more than 400,000 students. This season’s Mission Imagination shows include “Everybody’s Hero: The Jackie Robinson Story,” “Biscuit,” “Monster Who Ate My Peas” and more.

As a small nonprofit, we are extremely grateful for the support from Nicor,” said Raue’s Executive Director Richard Kuranda, “They truly care about the children, the environment and the sustainability of this community and other communities throughout the state.”

Nicor Gas is a natural gas distribution company that serves more than 2.2 million customers in most of the northern third of Illinois, excluding the city of Chicago.
