May 31-June 2: Harvard Milk Days

Milk Days is one of the oldest hometown festivals in Illinois. There’s so much fun to be had — a parade, carnival, food, fireworks, petting zoo, contests, entertainment, milk chugging contests, and more!

June 1-2: Northern Illinois Sheep & Fiber Festival

June 15-16: Art on the Fox

Celebrating its 12th year, the Father’s Day Weekend “Art on the Fox” art show attracts artists and attendees throughout the Midwest.

June 22: Crystal Lake Park District Beach Bash

June 24: A Day at Petersen Farm

July 4-7: Lakeside Festival

It’s “The Granddaddy of All Festivals” in McHenry County, attracting 50,000+ attendees with live music, Taste by the Lake, thrilling rides, midway games, fireworks, historic tours, and a huge selection of beer and wines on the grounds of the historic Dole Mansion.

July 25-28: Founders' Days

July 27: America's Cardboard Cup Regatta

The America’s Cardboard Cup Regatta is an annual event filled with fun for the family! July 30-August 4: McHenry County Fair

The McHenry County Fair is a 71-year tradition held in Woodstock. See 4-H, Open, and Junior Open livestock and non-livestock shows, educational displays revolving around conservation and agriculture, various vendors from different businesses and organizations across the county, a carnival, and a variety of ground and grandstand entertainment. It’s an event for families to come and create summertime memories that last a lifetime.

August 28-September 2: Walworth County Fair

September 7: Truck Off

September 14-15: Cary Main Street Fest
